How To Start A Cricut Sticker Business [Everything You Need]
The BEST Cricut for Stickers
Well, obviously you can’t start your Cricut sticker business without a Cricut!
Here are my top 2 recommended BEST Cricut for sticker making:
Each come with their own set of pros and cons, however the biggest difference between the two will be the pricing. If you are looking for a more affordable but still quality Cricut, go with the Cricut Explore 3.
If you’re ready to spend a little extra on your business the Cricut Maker 3 is going to be your best friend!
PRO-TIP: Some reviews recommend you purchase a better blade for the Cricut Explore when making stickers, and I fully agree. Although the blade it comes with is great, check out some of the better blades below!
Cutting Mats for Cricut Sticker Making
One thing I forgot when I was gather my sticker business supplies was a cutting mat. BIG MISTAKE on my part that ultimately ruined my favorite desk!
Don’t make the same mistake I did, here is the mat I use and LOVE now:
Depending on the size of Cricut stickers you will be making the size of your cutting mat may vary. These are my favorite more sturdy mats, that come in more than just one color.
Best Cricut Blades for Stickers
As mentioned in the section above, you may need to take a look at alternative blades for your Cricut.
You may not use them until your original blade has dulled out, but it’s best to have some on hand for when that does happen.
Trust me, you don’t want to be mid-cut when you realize the blade isn’t like it used to be and you have tons of more stickers to go.
Depending on what Cricut you purchase your blade may vary.
Top Rated Sticker Scrapers
What in the world is a sticker scraper? Don’t worry I had no idea what this was or why I needed it until I realized just how helpful these little guys are.
Cricut makes their own scraper tools, but I find these to be even better:
They are much easier to hold in your hand, come with extra blades, and come with an extra scraper. Which I promise you, you will misplace one of them at some point!
Best Printer for Cricut Stickers
I wrote more about each printer listed below in TOP 7 BEST PRINTER FOR CRICUT PRINT AND CUT [2022], but these are the top 3 from that list.

You want to make sure you have a good quality printer on hand for your designs, so that they are crisp and colorful for your customers!
I currently use the Canon PIXMA Pro-200 and my customers RAVE about the detail in my products!
Computers VS Tablet (Which one is best for Designing Cricut Stickers?)
This one is more of an opinion based must have. I personally love designing on a big screen with a keyboard, however, I know so many other small Cricut sticker makers enjoy the flexibility that tablets have to offer.
You should use a computer if:
- You mostly work at a desk/in an office setting
- You enjoy a larger screen to look at
- You are running a lot of software at once
You should consider a tablet for Cricut sticker designs if:
- You are more of a draw your own design kind
- You work in different spaces (travel around)
- Enjoy a handheld experience
