How You Are Doing Social Media All Wrong

Why You Shouldn't Post Your Shop In Facebook Groups

Don't  put your Etsy, Amazon or even the link to your website within Facebook groups for sellers. If you belong to any Facebook groups that have anything to do with Etsy, or Amazon sellers, posting your shops site is just a waste of time. You don't want to spam peoples feed with links to your shops or photos of your products.

By people clicking on your link, will inflate the amount of views you get and gives you a false sense of accomplishment. By having high views and no one actually buying, your conversion rates will drop.  It also makes you feel like since more and more people are liking on my link that you don't have to work on your google SEO or any real social media tactics. Beware Of Fake "Business Coaches"

I get very frustrated with people that call themselves "business coaches" and don't actually do anything to help people progress within there business. There are people out there telling the people that follow them to share there link to there Instagram profile and i'll follow you if you follow me. They are just wanting to gain more followers without having to do work. There is no reason why you should be sharing your link and think that it will result in more sales.

Those types of people lead sellers to think that there will be a positive outcome to them sharing there web address in these types of groups, when in fact it does nothing for you. These people forget that they have to provide value to you in order for people to follow them. If they are wanting to make a business out of coaching people then they have to be able to help people instead of giving them false hope.
